Dr. Tina Vu-Heaton grew up in Columbia, SC and graduated from Spring Valley High School. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2000. Dr. Vu-Heaton has been treating patients in the Midlands for over 15 years. Her philosophy for treatment is through prevention and education. Dr. Vu-Heaton believes that by working with the patient, they can achieve a common goal. She enjoys welcoming all patients in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
Dr. Vu-Heaton is active within her community and belongs to many professional and charitable organizations. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Central District Dental Society, SC Dental Divas, and Psi Omega Dental Fraternity. She also has been recognized as Top Dentist by her peers since 2012 by the Columbia Metropolitan Magazine. Dr. Vu-Heaton is married and has four beautiful children between the ages of 3-11. When not at the office, she enjoys attending her children’s activities, volunteering, boating, traveling, and last but not least, cheering for the Carolina Gamecocks.
