Dr. William Noonan, Jr., also known as “Buddy,” is a native of Sumter, SC, and he graduated from Sumter High School in 1987. He received a B.S. degree in biology from the Citadel in 1991. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1995. Dr. Noonan has been a dentist since 1995, and he established Palmetto Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in 2000.
He has a passion for helping others, whether it is comforting patients by working through their fear of the dentist, fixing a problem to alleviate pain, or providing patients with self-confidence through helping to create a new smile. Dr. Noonan wants to make a positive difference in the lives of his patients.
On a more personal note, Dr. Noonan and his wife Kathleen were married in 1995. They have four children: Riley, Will, Charlie, and Kate. He is an active member of First Baptist Church, where he serves in various capacities. In his spare time, Dr. Noonan likes to spend time with his family, and he enjoys the outdoors.
